We have some big and very positive news for TCO! After hunting Whitetail in WMU 346 for 3 years, we ended up trading these tags for 8 in WMU 504. WMU 504 is arguably one of the top Whitetail zones in Alberta, if not all of Canada and the lower 48. This Zone has a long history of producing great bucks, some of which have scored over 200" with 160+" bucks being the norm!

We have some big and very positive news for TCO! After hunting Whitetail in WMU 346 for 3 years, we ended up trading these tags for 8 in WMU 504. WMU 504 is arguably one of the top Whitetail zones in Alberta, if not all of Canada and the lower 48. This Zone has a long history of producing great bucks, some of which have scored over 200” with 160+” bucks being the norm! To shoot a big whitetail, you have to hunt where there are big whitetails and this Zone has the genetics and habitat necessary to produce world class deer. We hunt both Crown and Private land in this zone, mostly by utilizing elevated stands and portable blinds. Some calling/rattling is used too.
We will only have eight tags for 2010, but are working on purchasing a few more in the near future. This year we will be offering 6 and 9 day hunts, and these dates over lap between the early/pre-rut and the full rut. For the remaining 2010 openings, our hunt prices are $3,850 for a 6 day hunt and $4,850 for a 9 day hunt. All hunting is 2x1 and if needed, Extra hunting days will be $350/day. Hunting license/tag are an additional $350. This is a great value as our regular and the industry standard hunt pricing in this part of Alberta, ranges from $5,500-7,500, depending on hunt length!
In 2011 we will be offering two nine day hunts; one will be pre-rut to early rut and the second one will start during the rut and go to post-rut. These longer hunts are geared towards true trophy whitetail hunters, as we are expecting a high success rate on giant whitetails! These hunts will cost $6,850 plus licenses and we expect these hunts to be very popular. Because we are a smaller operation, we can also customize hunt dates and lengths.
